We were offered a modern looking and nicely refurbished room in the bar below the bedrooms. The location was particularly good and ideal - very close to the town/bus station, a great family friendly establishment and town centre.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location over the beer garden is convenient and adds to the lively atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the rooms are equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The double bed and proper shower cubicle ensure a good night's sleep and a refreshing start to the day. Additionally, the breakfast, which includes instant porridge in a pot and a hot drink, is a nice touch that is included with the stay.
All in all, this hotel was a satisfactory choice.

The breakfast in the morning was small but surprisingly nice
The staff were rude on arrival and at breakfast and when we were booking out. The room was much smaller than advertised and the bathroom had a puddle of brown sludge on the floor! The shower didnt work and was freezing cold. I booked two double rooms and a single room to be told on the day that they had messed up and we only had one double room and one single room meaning one of our parties had to camp outside in the pouring rain. The single room had only enough space for the bed and was so tiny it resembled a cupboard an had no windows so was dark and dreary. There was one small window in the ceiling which was covered in bird poo. I feel the hotel is completely over priced.

Friendly staff/greeting, good breakfast.
TV did not work properly - no sound/channels did not change. There was a socket haging off the wall in my room. Would like to see an updated room for the money we paid. This could be a good place to stay if upgraded.
